Time really flies like arrow. More than 365days ago, I was sitting in front of the computer, trying to apply as many scholarships as I could. I was kind of exploring the course that I want to study. But at the same time I was determined not to study form6 until I quarrelled with mum over this small yet important decision. Mum insisted that I take the same path as my brother and sister. But I just didn't want to tie myself to public examination anymore. It was at this time that I received the most meaningful and priceless gift- JPA scholarship. I thought I was going to have a good year ahead but the reality is just the other way round. I am currently tortured by piles of assignments and tests. I should not lament too much. Instead, I should be contented with I have now.
What makes me to appreciate everything so much? It is clearly several calls from juniors which made me realized that the scholarship is made in exchange of sweat and toil. The juniors are busy asking around to know which courses suit them and guarantee a brighter future. Seniors like us act as a reference point and consultant without charging any service charge. I talked on the phone for more than half an hour just to analyze the past statistic of JPA scholarship to one of my junior. Hopefully all the information and piece of advice given will be useful to them.
Selecting course is undoubtedly the most frustrated process. It takes time to search for all sorts of information.All the efforts will be futile if a person gives up halfway because of choosing the wrong course. I had came across two classmates in Sociology class who had switched course after studying the previous course for more than one year. I start to doubt whether I have chosen the right course. Will I regret later?Seriously, I cant get the answer. Just hope that everything will go on smoothly without much obstacle. Even if there is any obstacle, hopefully I am resolute enough to tackle it.
