Merry Christmas

I thought I could attend gathering and party as a celebration for christmas. But mum falls sick during christmas eve and dad had to work on that day, so Sis and I had to take care of her. So no gathering and celebration on christmas eve. Praying that mum would recover on Christmas Day and I could attend a party tonight, mum's condition became worse and all the plans had to be cancelled. On the other hand,it seems like mum has spreaded her virus to us, sis and I am having fever now. No more Malacca tomorrow morning.

Although feeling unwell, sis and I still have to help out in household chores. I remembered we were required to write an essay on the topic like "how you take care of mum when she falls sick" during parimary school. I was unable to write an impressive essay at that time because I did not experience the incident on my own. I still can play around when I was young because siblings would take care of mum. Today, I think I can produce an A+ essay after having a laborious day. Lazy me never do so many household chores within one day and now only I realize the hardship of being a housewive who have to take care of the need of every family member.

Don't want to be sick, just wana have an enjoyable day everyday. And Merry Christmas to all my dear friends!

Ah Keong

Finally I met up with ah Keong (Lee Ling)today. She has a special surname Keong which can be hardly found in our school. So ah Keong ah Keong becomes her nickname all this while.

The moment I met her, she is still as happy and lively as ever. Smile or even laugh all the while she talks, as if there are no people surrounding us. And Ah Keong was definitely our main character today because she was the one who created jokes and made us laugh like mad.

Ah Keong has been studied at Kampar and seldom comes back to Muar. She would just stay at home even if she comes back to muar. So she does not keep herself updated to the event and incidents happened here. She was shocked to know that Muar has Secret Recipe even though Secret Recipe is here for quite a few years already. She doesnt know the location of the cafe which is here for quite a few years also. She never taste 绿豆爽, a famous tong shui here. She calls her Kampar's friends as “上面的人”， as if her Kampar's friends are from paradise haha.

Ah keong kept persuaded us to go back early and according to her, we are leading a 流浪汉's life because we can actually spent half the day at the super duper small Wetex Parade. Ya I have to admit we are leading that type of life during holiday. Ah Keong spends her every single minute in front of the laptop, faceboo, taiwan tv drama or msn...or even searching the pictures of her idol like nicholas and Farenheit. This is how she defined "a meaningful life".

Dong Zhi

It is Tong Zhi today. The main attraction of today is none other than tang yuan. The main color of today is none other than red color. The shape of today is none other than circle. What else?Yeap, the main message to be remembered today is reunion with family.

Gathering 1218

It was a secondary school gathering at Sanga Cafe. The moment we met each other, we were like "I didn't see you for almost two years already le." We are not exaggerating the facts, because it is really hard to gather so many people after finishing our SPM. I have no regret to study at a girls' school because it is just like a paradise to gossip and to share secret. There was no need for us to go to the toilet to change our school uniform, and we didn't worry much if we stained our dress accidentally during period haha.

Gathering is definitely one of the best way to continue the tradition of gosssiping and getting the latest updates.Here are some of the pictures taken

That is Yu Xin! She is in Czech now but network really brings people closer together. Just switch on the laptop, connect the pc to wireless and sign in to Skype. The steps are as simple as that, and the people we miss are just in front of us.

Muar Trip?!

Yeah three days holidays are coming. I was so delighted the moment I finished marking students' homework today. The job is not tough, just that it is so annoying to wake up early in the morning while people are still having a sweet dream.

Short after I finished work, I met up with Shi Hwee and we went for the movie "Avatar" at Muar DECENT cineplex. There were not many people since it was afternoon and as usual, we could choose our own seat without having the need to follow any seat number. The movie is super duper nice, with amazing 3D effects and interesting story line. Several meaningful messages are brought up in this movie too, like how snobbish human exploit the natural resources and how some religious indigenous people protect their homelands. This movie lasts for 2.5 hrs long, which is almost the same length as 2012. It was not that comfortable to watch such a long movie at Muar cineplex but we are trained to enjoy the movie while sitting on a nearly spoilt chair.We always appreciate the opportunity to watch the latest movie here because this cineplex is our only choice.

After the movie, Shi Hweee's brother joined us for dinner and She Hwee treated us to dinner as a celebarion of getting good result in her SAM public examination. After that, we drove around Muar until we actually decided to pay a visit to ECONSAVE. Yup it is a place for auntie and guess what. We met many people there and it is really hard to believe that Muar teenagers like to hang out there. Maybe we really do not have many places to hang out other than cafes and the only shopping complex, Wetex Parade. Then, we had an early supper at Lao Di Fang,a famous hangout spot for uncle and auntie too. We are just getting bored of the cafe's food and expesnive rate. So nice and cheap food seem not to be a bad choice afterall.

Lastly, we went to Tanjong for a night walk. As heartcount said, it is a famous spot for "pakthology".Couples like to hang out there and we can sopt some lesbians and gays if got luck. But it was only nine something when we reached there, the lesbians and gays are not active yet. The sea breeze was not strong enough for people to play a kite. The benches near the riverside start to collapse but people were still sitting there to talk without considering much about their safety. Tanjong seem to be a more lively place , with lot of people and nice food around.

By the time I reached home, it was almost 10.30pm. Energetic me was still very high at first, but suddenly became tired after receiving  a message from Shi Hwee telling me that her mum didnt allow her to go to BP tomorrow. Owh the shopping plan has to be cancelled, what a sad case. But think the other way round, I can save money and have a proper rest tomorrow.

I Like It

"Su Jia, that day I asked you to work full day tomorrow right?Ok, u just need to work until 2pm as usual." Yesh, a simple speech lightened up my day. All the plans that are forced to be cancelled can be carried out now.I can go for a movie, I can sleep and online in the afternoon.I wonder whether I can work for half day only in the future. I think teaching will be the only career that fits this criteria. But being a teacher is never my first ambition.


Sometimes it is good to change the way of life after getting bored of present life.But I would never like to switch the enjoyable holiday life to a hectic study life. I gain weight and spend quite a lot of money during holiday, but nice food and pretty stuffs are just simply irresistable for me. 

2nd Time

December seem to be a season of accident for me. Sis fetched me after work n suggested to have lunch at McD but I insisted to eat rojak and Five Smells at Tanjong. So we made our way to Tanjong Emas and sis actually drove to the wrong direction. It was at the time that she wanted to make a U-turn, a car crashed from behind us. Luckily, sis managed to balance her motorbike and I managed to pull her shirt from fallng down as well. I was "glad" that this accident was not as serious as what I experienced last year.

The driver stopped her car on the opposite side of the road. Seeing from far, I thought this lady was going to scold us like mad, but she is a yound kind-hearted lady indeed. "You all ok?Why you didnt turn on the signal?I was freaked out.This car is not mine. Luckily everything is fine."She didnt give us a lecture like the rude driver I met last year.

We went to take a look at her car and were relieved to know that it was a not a line, but just some white powder(caused by collision) on her car which can be wiped off. So no compensation was needed and everything was settled in a jiffy.

Sis kept reminding me not to reveal the accident to mum and mum is still kept in ignorance now haha.

Malacca Again

I am Still Here

Now I have gained back my access to internet using the free wireless from nearby cafe. I should discover the existence of this service long time ago but careless me forgot that I actually switched off the wireless button all the while after I back to home. Now I did not look for any movies to fill in my free time anymore because internet is always a better companion compared to the other sources.

This holiday is coming to an end very soon. I have worked in the kindergarten for about two weeks time I find out that is job is getting more challenging. Last time I worked as a class assistant in which shouting at the children was not needed much;however, I have to handle the whole class on my own now. And it is so devastating to find out that the number of boys is double the number of girls in the class. So I have a hard time to control the discipline of the children and finish the syllabus exactly on time.

The students are afraid of me only when I show out my weapon-a cane. I definitely do not wish to frighten the students using this cane but a terrible sore throat is forcing me to do so. I know I am not strict enough when I witness how some teachers gave their students five strokes for mistakes done in spelling. I do not have stern look and loud voice to discipline the children. But hopefully the enthusiasm to mingle with children is enough to keep me working there until the Dec end.

A lot of incidents had happened in these holidyas and I find out how bad I am in comforting. I did not how to comfort a person who get hurted and how to help them get back to their normal life. I did not know how to stop a person from crying because I know crying might be one of the ways to get relief. Conclusion, I need to strengthen my skill in comforting people in few years time.

How to Draw?!

                    I was instructed by Jia Yie’s mum to help her son in studies. So I spent two days teaching kindergarten level syllabus and realized that drawing skill is so much important in carrying out this duty. I had to draw a lot of pictures when preparing some questions for the naughty boy to practice and it was so disappointing to discover how bad I am in drawing. I had to trace the pictures on the books and it was definitely not my style few years ago. I have to admit that my drawing skill has degraded terribly.

                  I used to love drawing a lot in primary school and I had the habit of buying new crayon every year when drawing competition was around the corner. Thank to sis’s assistance and guides, I represented class in drawing competition and won trophies each year. One third of the trophies that I won in primary school was contributed by drawing competitions. I even had the chance to represent school in district competition.

   

                  Thing changed 360 degree after I went to secondary school. My class was required to take Music instead of Art. Since then I didn’t touch any drawing and I did not even have the chance to learn to draw using water color. I took part in one competition but I lost as expected. There were no more coloring and drawing in secondary school. There were only black and white colors on the textbooks.

                  It is time to pick up my interest again. It is time to reminisce my sweet childhood memory and it is time to stop tracing picture!

Genting Trip

We were the earliest to finish our final exam. While other people were still waiting for their first paper, four of us, Shi Ying, Kah Yee Chloe and I was seeking fun in Genting. In order to have more time playing in the theme park, we took a taxi there and we met a SS taxi driver who kept saying how handsome and capable he is. 

Here we were at the outdoor theme park. It kept raining and we were forced to rest after each game. But Rain God was good afterall because we were still able to try some of the most exciting and funniest games. We tried the dreadful Cockscrew and I closed my eyes throughout the whole journey. If Jyo Lyn were there, I bet she would raise both her hands and laugh happily in the air.And we definitely din have the courage to try the Spaceshot which was like jumping down from a 18th floor building.

Camwhoring a bit 

Food is never an attraction at genting. We paid a large amount to eat terrible food and I start to realize Inti food can be nice at that moment. At night, I tried to sneak in the casino successfully. It was the time to prove how mature (dunwan to use the word "old") I am and the other three girls were confident that they could not sneak in together with me. So I walked around the casino alone, without knowing the the rules and regulations of the games.But at least I get an experience there.

It is fn to travel together with the president of "S&w" Society, Chloe. She likes to act a lot and direct us to do something immoral haha. Hope the recipient of the video will appreciate our stunning act.

Big Appetite Competition

The Adventure Club came out with the brilliant idea of organizing the Big Appetizer Competition. Our big appetizer planned to take part but she abandoned the plan because it would spoil her image haha. 

So there we were to have a look at this interesting and challenging competition. The bakery area was crowded and people can hardly move. The competition was divided into three categories but we were able to watch the shows of two catogories only. 

Pity those participants who had to eat an extremely spicy sphagetti, rice and sausage. I guess all the food must be very spicy until several participants vomited after the competition ended. We could spot red-colored remnants near the dustbin and it was so disgusting!

Next came the most anticipating group competition. Our friends, Kah Jing, Jia Xiang, Mern Jie and Jia Hui took part in this competiiton and guess what?They won the first prize!Congratulations to them for one more time here. Their challenges are like this:

a) Kah Jing ate a large bowl of not-so-nice-looking noodles

b) Jia Xiang ate 10pieces of Soda biscuits and 10pieces of Gardenia bread (this was the toughest challenge, i guess)

c) Mern Jie ate one tomato, cucumber and carrot which can prevent constipation well =)

d) Jia Hui ate half a watermelon within a really short time.

We shouted and clapped loudly to give encouragements. Feel so relieved after shouting because generally speaking, it is a good way to release tension other than crying which makes the eyes look swollen. Had my bathe for third time even it is raining outside there. The clubs should have more competition like this next year onwards.

BBQ Birthday Party

My carelessness nearly spoilt the whole plan. I was intended to send a message to Shi Ying to tell her that I had collected the birthday cards, but I sent the message wrongly to Mik Xin, who is the birthday girl.So I had to compensate for my mistake by imitating the handwritings of friends to create a fake birthday card. We gave the fake one to her on Sunday night and she was quick enough to discover that the handwritings look similar to ours. But still she kept the card and we had a small celebration at her room. We presented the real card to her on Monday fianlly.

So the highlight came today. We decided to join Chloe's gang to have bbq birthday.Things went on smoothly as what we planned.Here are the pictures:

Setting up the fire. Spent more than half an hour to set up the fire but we failed terribly. So we seeked help from the other gang, and one helpful British student came to help us and he succeeded finally. The bbq started!

This time we got chicken and lot of sausages. Mr Chan sponsored six packets of sausages but we didnt eat the sausage bought by him at all because we had a "hard" time trying to finish the sausage that we bought . Thx to him anywhere.

Birthday Song

We had planned this surprise for quite a long time aldy.People said we will be busy during short sem but we are just too free now. So we came out with all sorts of ideas and finally we are able to make it reality.

First,it is the birthday song for buddy, Mik Xin who is turning to be 19years old today. At first we just wana sing the song 红豆，which has specific meaning for us.But we came out with the idea to change the lyrics of this song by writing a story of our own. Luckily, we have one great and renowned lyrics composer here,who is none other than Pinus or Fatt Chai. The lyrics are really meaningful and I proudly present it here:
